Despite the fact that this film is quite old, it's animation is absolutely superb. The scenery is marvelous and the motion is clean, this classic anime certainly has a style all it's own. I loved it.

-Story line/Plot-
Lupin the Third is his usual, hilarious self throughout the movie and his antics help out a very unique plot. In a film of this sort, I found the conclusion very surprising and wonderful. It has some twists and fits everything in neatly without any unneeded element that may harm the story.

-Characters-
We have The renowned thief with a heart, several unique mercenaries with interesting personalities, a stereotypical damsel in distress if I've ever seen one and a few other serious and humorous people. Lupin himself is definitely a complex character as he is outgoing yet he keeps to himself about his past. Although there is one stereotypical character in the mix, I must say that I have never seen anything like Lupin and I probably never will.

The theme for the opening credits was absolutely magnificent. It was smooth and serene with a little jazz in there to keep it going. Early on in the film, we have the classic Lupin swing theme during a car chase and the music continues to match each scene an a perfect manner. Bottom line; I like it.

This is the one place where Lupin has trouble for younger people. Although it is nowhere near the worst I have seen, the language is pretty bad. Aside from that, this would be a "G-rated" movie.

-Summary-
After stealing counterfeit money from a national Casino, the Famous thief Arsene Lupin the Third and his gunman Jigen decide to track down the origin of the legendary "Goat Bills" which are counterfeit monies of such high quality that only one such as Lupin himself can recognize them.
After entering the country that Lupin knows is behind the mysterious bills, only a day passes before things heat up. As Lupin tries to make sense of a past memory from long ago he slowly unravels the secrets of the Castle. However, even Lupin may end up over his head in a place from which so many have never returned...
