Treize is the ever calm and collected leader of the OZ organization. Growing up with the boy known as Zechs Merquise, Treize also trained as a soldier. He is secretive, sophisticated and an excellent warrior with a sense of Chivalry. This is shown by his preference of dueling to open battle and also through the design of the OZ-13MS; The Gundam Epyon.

Mister Treize has a certain aura that demands respect, for that is what he gives to all those who truly fight. He respects soldiers. When given a tremendous blow by an enemy he actually complimented the attack. He may come off as cocky, but Treize is a powerful leader who knows his limits.
