The Vector Project: Prologue
Scene: It looks like this is an old film, it is black and white too. There is no sound. We see a barren playground. A gentle wind tosses leaves around, and swings the swings. Pan to a tire swing. A small child fades in. We see only her backside. Slowly the wind plays the swing forward. We can see her crying. Suddenly the film seems to snaps and everything goes white . The white fades into snow. We can barely see the outline of a building in this blizzard. We go in a window. Everything is still in black and white, but it no longer looks old. We pan across a desk and see a file with a girls picture on it. Suddenly, a large red light starts to flash. Fade into the hall. Red lights are placed at random intervals, all flashing. No one is in these halls. It is still silent. Fade into another room, red lights. Another hall, red lights. Pan outside the window. Four black stretch limos are outside, waiting. Slowly, they pull away. Fade to a High School. Fade to the outside of an Auditorium where a sign says: "Talent Show Today!!" Pan into the auditorium. Everything is in vivid color. Terra's Theme from Final Fantasy VI is playing. The girl from the file is on stage dancing to the music. She is very graceful and has the whole audience captivated with her dance. As she dances pan to the back of the room where we see a burly man in a black suit enter. He is also wearing sunglasses. He looks around and nods. Six more men, dressed alike, enter and guard each exit in pairs. The one who came in first looks up on stage. Close in on his face, he smiles. Zoom back out to the auditorium. No students have noticed, they are all watching the dance. A man, obviously the principal, comes down the aisle at a brisk walk toward the gentleman. Camera passes the Principal and goes back toward stage. The girl smiles as well. Fade to the Principal nodding and gritting his teeth. The man in black nods. He snaps his fingers. Another man comes up behind him. Students in the back row start to watch them now and a whisper waves over the audience. The two men head down the center aisle to the stage. Once on stage the whole audience is talking rapidly. The music comes to a sudden halt and the talking grows louder. On stage, the guy in black whispers something to the girl. At first, she looks happy, but then she looks shocked. With a determined nod she leaves, flanked by the men. As they reach the door, the precession grows longer. The principal is on stage in the background trying to calm everyone down. They get in the limos and head off. Credits roll as they drive along the countryside and the limos reach the building. Once they reach the original building, the girl gets out and runs into the lobby.Girl: 'Afternoon Mrs. Winsley!
Scene: Mrs. Winsley tries to say something, but the girl slaps a button by the elevator. The elevator opens and we watch it fall, from the outside, a good 20 stories underground. When it opens, the girl is dressed in a red and black body suit. She is walking down what could be a Super Star Destroyer's bridge.
Girl: What's the situation?
